To move away from her family. To become a doctor over there when really she would get a better education over here. I say this in a good way she is all over the place. I feel that each flower presents a decision she has made. The tree is like her life it will keep growing and blossoming just like how her life will go. I think that this piece of art work has a very peaceful mood and most of the time Beneatha is peaceful.

I think this line relates a lot to her because she needs to hold up her head to be able to move on and start earning the money for her to be able to go to this school not by it just being given to her. "This, friends, is the Welcoming Committee!" (118 Hansberry). This is in the play when Lindner is trying to get their family to sell the house. She was being sarcastic by saying this is the welcoming committee when really Lindner doesn't want them to move into the house. This is not the first time she is being sarcastic either.
