A conductor is made out of metals such as copper. In a house you can find lots of conductors like pots, pans, forks, knifes and spoons. Some metal is not a type of conductor like silver and gold. Most metals are good for conducting heat, like radiators.

Fridge to keep the cold in (made of metal.)Any material that keeps energy such as electricity, heat, or cold from easily transferring through an insulator. Glass and rubbers are good insulators. Glass is made of sand and rubber is made of rubber tree. Wool is a good insulator too it is made Sheeps of coat\hair. An insulator also keeps electricity in a certain space. An insulator does not conduct heat well.
