We do this through education. We need to learn the history of hate and how it has shaped our world, our societies and our communities. Again, we need to have the Teaching Toward Tolerance class taught in all three high schools. We need to be more understanding of our cultural differences, but also our shared similarities. We DO need to institute a new curriculum or infuse our current curriculum with more social justice education.
