There was an increase in demands for things such as copper, cotton, and beef. For this reason, prices were on the rise for these items. This also led to many miners going on strike and in return as a reaction they were then deported from Bisbee to New Mexico.

President Woodrow Wilson designated the Grand Canyon as a national park. This was the 15th national park during this time. This is good for the economy as it is definitely a want to visit place and booms the economy financially.

The Luke Airforce Base was named after a man named Frank Luke Jr. He was an aviator during World War l and resided in Phoenix, Arizona. It was named after him to show respect for his hard work and selflessness. Luke passed away when he was only 21 years old.
