Apollo is widely known as being the god of the sun, however he is also the god of music, archery, prophecy, and medicine.

Apollo wears a chiton and a laurel wreath, but he also carries a bow (because he's the god of archery) and/or a lyre (a type of musical instrument).

Apollo is the son of Zeus, god of lightning and Leto, goddess of motherhood. He is also the twin brother of Artemis, goddess of the hunt.

He features in many stories such as, Apollo And The Python, and Apollo And Cassandra.

Apollo was often depicted as a beardless, handsome youth with blonde hair and a muscular body (as seen above).

The most common symbols of Apollo include a bow (used for archery) and a lyre, and he was generally depicted as energetic, cheerful, wise, honest, and kind. Thanks for Reading :) By Ella
