Most popular scientists during history states that they learn more from failures than success. It is from mistakes where they regroup themselves and find the flaws of their initial view and it is through this process that they create knowledge. Actually, the scientific method relays on this logic.

The educational system can not ignore that point during the development of their teaching techniques. Students must be able to confront situations when the first idea that comes from them are not strictly right. In line with that, teacher must refrain themselves from not pointing out the mistakes their students make. On the contrary, they must encourage them to persue the true answer and to feel motivated during the process of doing so. Live could encounter different kinds of challenges, and most of the time to address them needs for perseverance rather than immediate praise.

One of the most common mistakes, nowadays, is to be more focus on the things that students have high degree of mastery, praising them without limits rather than giving them orientation on the things that they can do better to be more close to perfection. On the other hand, it is true that being so harsh in this approach could be counterproductive. Therefore, it is neccessary to maintain an important balance to avoid burnouts or attrition.

Hence, it is important to have a healthy balance in our educational system, a one that can promote the development in the given abilities of the students, without forgetting, during the process, to point out the flaws or weak spots they have to be better day by day. This approach must consider the mental health of the students as their center, in order to balance rigor with wellbeing and healthy growth.

The learning process is complex to describe since there are many theories and ways of being a professor. From macro and micromanagement and a range of psychological methods for diverse group sizes classes, but the main common denominator may be the attitude actions are driven to praise or not the student, children or even adults because no one never finish to learn.

Starting from learning as a process, people have to make mistakes to correct them. If they are not conscious about negative things and when those are made and being ignored, they won’t know how wrong and prejudicial are for themselves or their social environment. For example: a common example in relationships, many of them split up because of discussions or fights where negative aspects of the person were ignored because their ex prioritized the positive things that prolonged the sentimental bond and that is when, once all is over the person realized to deserve better treatment for the next time with their next partner.

Whereas it is important to notice people their mistakes or negative actions to make them realize the reach of them, during life learning process, for every human is crucial to praise the positive actions in order to build a healthy environment and to pursue them to keep going to do their best. Actually, top industry leaders such as inventors, nobel prize winners are where they are now because of an equal way of learning from their mistakes and being cheered from the positive impact they have been doing in the world.

Finally, there is not a correct formula to teach or learn, in the game of life it has many ways of bring people lections but the most important thing is to equal positive and negative things being conscious about its consequences.

Although praising positive actions is an effective teaching method, I disagree with the claim that negative actions should be ignored. Effective teaching requires both encouragement and constructive correction. While positive reinforcement motivates learners, ignoring mistakes may prevent them from recognizing and improving their weaknesses.

On the one hand, praising positive behavior can increase confidence and motivation. Students who receive recognition for their efforts are often more willing to participate, take risks, and continue learning. For example, a teacher who acknowledges a student’s improvement in mathematics may encourage that student to work even harder. Positive reinforcement creates a supportive environment in which learning can flourish.

However, ignoring negative actions is not always beneficial. Mistakes often provide valuable learning opportunities. If a student consistently uses incorrect reasoning in solving problems and the teacher ignores it, the misunderstanding may become a habit. Similarly, in professional settings, employees need feedback on errors to improve their performance. Constructive criticism helps individuals identify weaknesses and develop better skills.

That said, negative actions should not be addressed through harsh punishment or excessive criticism. Instead, educators should provide clear and respectful feedback while continuing to encourage positive behavior. This balanced approach allows learners to remain motivated while also understanding what they need to improve.

In conclusion, praising positive actions is an important component of effective teaching, but it is not sufficient on its own. The best educators combine positive reinforcement with constructive feedback, helping learners build on their strengths while correcting their mistakes. This approach leads to deeper learning and long term improvement.
