I was surprised by the seperation between boys and girls. We were also impressed by the fact that there were no teachers and only online classes. It was also nice to discover an only-Bengladi class.

What did I learn about Bengladesh?

We discovered that it was a very religious country unlike Belgium. It was impressive to learn that they go to school by boat and that they live with their cattle. Lastly, we were surprised by the mixed- ages classes.

What did I learn about Climate Change

When it rains, it causes floods and Bengladi have to move to other areas. There are 6 seasons and one of them is the monsoons and in the local students' opinion, it seems to be the worst one!

Knowing what I learned how does it impact me/ motivates me to act

It seems unfair to us that kids and teens like us have to face such difficulties whereas we're not impacted as much by climate change. We feel motivated to sensitize people around us about Blengladesh.
