This cartoon depicts the Soviet Union pulling Yugoslavia as China's leader pulling Albania. Referring back to documents that we have already read, Yugoslavs discussed how they planned to make their country more like the Soviet Union. This can be deemed as the Soviet Union pulling Yugoslavia's weight as the blueprint for their whole country. For example, the leader of Yugoslavia, Tito, wanted to be supported by the Soviet Union and was influenced by them during his leadership and reign in Yugoslavia. In relation, Albania was influenced by the communist leader Mao, and we know that China was a prominent power in the Cold War. Though in reality Tito did mimic Soviet he kept the relationship distance and didn't side with them or so believed while Albania mimicked China their relationships were strained and also broken.
