There are several reasons I can list below：

To begin with, school usually has student write exam papers .

So if we starts school late, it will take other times to finish it

such as class time.How terrible it is ,isn’t it?

Second, the later school stars, the later students go to bed.

Third, as far as I know, if I have an exam in next class, I will review it on this class. This is not feasible because I will

missing the point of this course .

So I am against school starts later.

First of all, long-time learning is certainly important. However, it is more important to maintain a good mental state during classes in order to learn more efficiently, and the later the school starts, the more time the students have to rest their spirit. In addition, the body is also important. Students are mostly children and teenagers, they need enough time to sleep so they can grow. Last but not least, we have to consider for students whose residences are far from the school. The time that is abundant for others may not be enough for them.

Promote bilingual education to reduce language barriers. Organize online exchange activities, such as virtual tours and online festivals, to expand participation. Establish exchange scholarships to encourage student participation by covering costs.

In addition to choosing topics that are more relevant to school life, it is also a good idea to choose topics that are easy to discuss and do not require much expertise. Because we are all high school students and do not know very difficult vocabulary, easy-to-discuss topics can help the other party understand what we want to express. Choosing a simple topic that is interesting to everyone also has the advantage of encouraging both parties to want to communicate. We hope that through these improvements, future exchange programs can be more in-depth and diversified, further strengthening the friendly relationship between sister schools and developing our international perspective and cross-cultural communication skills

When I heard about exchange activities , I was very nervous, worrying that my English skills might not be sufficient for smooth communication. But clearly, I overthought it. With the help of teachers and classmates, I was able to successfully complete one challenge after another.

We discovered that Japanese high schools offer a more diverse curriculum and place great emphasis on extracurricular activities. Almost every student participates in at least one club, which not only fosters individual interests but also promotes teamwork.

We also learned about unique Japanese cultural events, such as cultural festivals and sports days. These activities showcase students' creativity, unity, and athletic spirit, enriching their lives and forming an essential part of school culture.

Overall, this exchange program allowed me to appreciate the diversity of Japanese high school education and their emphasis on the holistic development of students.

Therefore, I understand that in the next exchange or chat with my Japanese friends, I should talk more about free activities, or organize more hand-made games to bring us closer to each other. This will allow them to feel more involved and feel our kindness and enthusiasm.

Likewise, during this exchange, the most impressive activity we participated in was the demonstration of Dragon Boat Festival customs. This not only allowed me to see some customs that I rarely pay attention to, but also allowed me to learn a lot of new knowledge. What’s even better is that Japanese friends also spoke highly of our performance this time, which made me feel happy and proud.

After the event, students from both sides were still unsatisfied. Although the activity was very tiring, the feedback from the students was very positive: they all gained a full sense of accomplishment and were really lucky to have this opportunity to experience the charm of cultural exchange.

Once the activities began, those initial feelings of uncertainty gradually faded. I became more confident as I engaged with others, and the experience of discovering similarities between our cultures brought me a lot of joy. Overall, the program deepened my understanding of another culture and gave me a greater appreciation for my own.

Reflecting on the past exchange experiences, we learned a lot and received various ideas. First of all, during our initial exchange with the Japanese students, we did not achieve effective communication due to cultural differences. However, we made efforts to understand each other. Secondly, both sides delved into the differences between Taiwanese and Japanese cultures and experienced each other’s culture. Finally, through this activity, we made friends with the Japanese students and enjoyed our communication during the exchange.

Let’s start with communication, because both Taiwan and Japan communicate through English. Maybe there are differences in accents or usage, so we can’t fully understand what the other party is saying during the communication process. And because it’s our first communication, we Maybe they have greatly overlooked the fact that non-verbal communication is also very important.

Because before each exchange, the instructions given by the teacher after the meeting have been changing, the students may not understand what the clearest goal is, and may not know what to do during the exchange process.

This will not only help us improve future events but also make participants feel that their feedback is valued.
