  • Identified the stakeholders in a project.
  • Involved all the stakeholder groups.
  • Used a combination of data gathering techniques. 
  • As a team we then supported the data-gathering sessions with suitable props such as task descriptions and prototypes that were available.
  • Next we then ran a pilot session to ensure that our data-gathering sessions will go as planned.
  • In an ideal world, you would understand what you are looking for and what kinds of analysis you want to do. Design the data-capture exercise to collect the data you want. However, data gathering is expensive and often a tightly constrained resource.

  • My team and i understood that analysis phase of a project allows the project team to understand the factors that are responsible for the success of a project.
  • A project has stakeholders who are the key people involved in the project. These stakeholders are key players for the project implementation .
  • We realized that some stakeholder needs may be difficult or impossible to be achieved. That's when we came up with the idea that the stakeholder will then need to be approached and we would have to then discuss with them on another functional method or drop off the idea totally.
  • What we have learnt is understanding what the stakeholder (customer) wants is one way of ensuring that the delivered project will meet the specifications of the stakeholders.
