SSDs and HDDs

A HDD works slower than an SSD because a HDD has moving parts inside of it whereas an SSD doesn't.

SSDs are more expensive than HDDs because of a few reasons, they use expensive raw materials, have a lower market demand than HDDs and the manufacturing process is complex and costly.

SSDs generally have a lower storage space available compared to HDDs which can be much bigger, the largest SSD available is 60TB, but it costs $10,000.

If a HDD were to come in contact with a magnet, the data on the HDD would be wiped, whereas an SSD is safe from any effects of magnetism.

HDDs have a higher power draw, averaging at 6-7 watts compared to an SSD which averages at 2-3 watts. (Laptop)

Because of the moving parts, a HDD will produce a noise when it's working whereas an SSD works silently.

SSD $0.20 per GB vs HDD $0.03 per GB

Limitations: Illustrator and Photoshop

Photoshop and Illustrator:
A limitation of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is for beginner graphic designers, Illustrator and Photoshop is extremely complex with many different tools and functions. This means that there is a long learning process needed to make professional graphics and most of the software will not be used by the designer because they do not need it.

Another limitation is that the software's are very expensive and you will have to pay a monthly subscription of £19.97/mo if you are an individual user, and £25.28/mo if you are a small or medium sized business. This can be limiting because small start-up businesses will not have the money to continue paying this amount of money each month.
