Davao City Environment and Natural Resources Management Office Advocacy Campaign for Solid Waste Management, dubbed as Let's Make L.I.M.P.Y.O established its poster to disseminate information about their fun run event. L.I.M.P.Y.O means: Lean towards a cleaner and greener community; Implement proper solid waste management; Mobilize advocates and ambassadors; Promote initiatives for environmental conservation; Yes to the enforcement of R.A. 9003; and Organize activities and projects to nurture nature. This fun run is one of the campaign's events, alongside workshops and seminars to promote citywide engagement of citizens for environmental conservation, a less polluted and cleaner city.

Due to this increase, engineers had no choice but to doze the waste further into the landfill to avoid it spilling onto the streets.

KEY CONTENT:
The Salintubig Program, which strives to deliver clean water to disadvantaged communities, has as its foundation the water supply and sanitation practices of the coastal barangays of Santa Ana Cruz Davao Del Sur in the Philippines. The survey's findings, which analyzed the barangays' water supply and sanitation systems and determined the factors influencing their adoption, are presented in this report. The Salintubig Program is required since the survey revealed that most households rely on shallow wells and rainfall catchment systems for their water supply and that sanitation practices are insufficient.
