The war was viewed as a class struggle, religous struggle, dictatorship and republican democracy struggle and a struggle between fascism and communism. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Treaty of Versailles was a peace document signed by the Germans and allied forces at the end of WW1. The treaty took force on January 10, 1920. It held Germany responsible for starting the war. It imposed harsh penalties on Germans. Including a loss of teritory, massive reparatons payments and de-escalating. Woodrow Wilson the president in the early 1918 outlined his famous fourteen points addressing the humiliaton of Germany while he was failing to resolve the issues that led to the war in the first place. </p>]]></description>

By the beginning of WWll it had become synonymous with absolute and oppressive single-party government. Totalitarianism is characterized by the strong central rules that attempt to control and direct all aspects of individuals lives through coercion and repression. Union during the stalin era was the first example of popular totalitarianism. </p>]]></description>

         <title>The Great Depression</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Great Depression was the worst economic downturn in the history of the industrialized world, it lasted from 1929 to 1939. It made people loose their homes and forced people to survive in shanty towns that then became known as "Hoovervilles". The economy sank in The Great Depression and unemployment peaked and 25.6 percent of American workers found themselves unemployed, the coronavirus also forced businesses and factories  to close. Gary Richardson did extensive research and said that The Great Depression was one of the biggest downfalls for businesses and the community. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The League of Nations is an organization for international cooperation that was established on January 10, 1920. The basic idea of the movement was that aggressive wars was a crime not only against the immediate victim but against the whole community. All the states joined together to prevent aggressive war and it is their right and duty to do so. The League of Nations was formally disbanded on April 19, 1946 and its powers and functions were transferred to the nascent United Nation.</p>]]></description>
