Another possibility regarding its origins was the dance being performed during the Nguyen Dynasty ( 1803-1885) at the imperial court. Both scenarios occurring in Vietnam. However, after watching several videos through observation I noticed a trend. The majority of music being used seemed to be mellow folk or classical songs sung in Vietnamese.
