         <description><![CDATA[<div>I try to place in to practise the things developed through cpd but I feel like I've missed vital insets such as Gareth Coombs and Mantle so it's sometimes difficult to do it to the same standard as the expected level that I feel it should be. Although I promote independent learning and encourage children to use different ways to learn I don't put enough time aside to 'learn to learn' specifically.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Always try to put quality ideas into practice but given that it takes a reasonable while to embed 1 thing, can be difficult to manage big pedagogical changes if they come too quickly or frequently.  Getting better with this, but would appreciate opportunities to revisit prior training so as to properly digest the information, reflect on current practise and plan for further change. <br><br>5.  Brining metacognition  in much more, see it as more important than subject content most of the time. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I aim to put into practise ideas shared with me during inset. I regularly use GM resources and methodology. I use AP for writing (sentences and washing line etc) and ice with Mr P and some GC marking and feedback. However sometimes there is so much new things I forget them. Chats with my team about approaches help with this.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Question 5<br>I remind children about learning powers and focus on our principles to encourage independent learning. I aim to encourage talking about explain it rather than answer and encourage Answer, Prove, Explain for tasks.I do need to allow more time for learning about learning, focused alot  in Autumn term but not so much direct teaching of it in spring term etc.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I strive to embed different practice and pedagogy into my teaching but I personally feel there is never enough time to fully understand/grasp new ideas effectively as we move onto a new idea/way of thinking so quickly. The children being given opportunities to think about their learning is part of our curriculum but I feel our children lack confidence and understanding of how to vocalise their ideas/understanding.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As a department we have implemented many of the different ideas, methods etc that have beenintroduced  via training or in class support. We all have a desire to continue to improve our teaching and the children's learning. I feel that we have lots of different new, great ideas but sometimes this is overload. It would be really useful to have a period of time to embed all the training - Gareth Metcalfe, Gareth Coombes, ICT Mr P, etc etc. One / two main drives a year would be ideal. </div>]]></description>
