Mr. Foster, delighted in his wife’s problem, spend as much time as possible to get to the airport and made his wife even more nervous. Because of that, Mrs. Foster took revenge in a clever way.

This is a story about 4 sisters who live with their mother in New England. Their father is fighting in the Civil War, and for this reason their economy is not very good. One day, the 2 oldest sisters receive an invitation for a party at Meg’s friend house. There they meet their new neighbor Laurie. Meg sprained her foot so, he offers to take them home. Everybody speaks about this relationship and Mrs. March’s interest in marrying one of her daughters with this young rich man. They are happy but unfortunately this happiness disappears when they receive a telegram that says their father is very ill. Their mother has to leave home. Meanwhile, Beth is dangerously ill and Laurie’s teacher starts playing an important role in the story.

Suddenly, one day, when Huw and Megan were together, they heard a loud noise, part of the roof of a tunnel   had fallen down, and some miners had been   caught   five-hundred     meters   below the   ground, among them, Gareth.  Huw's father becomes   an alcoholic, and with pain in his heart, Huw says bye to Megan, to go to Canada, because there was no future for him in Tredonald, and the fame   of the   heavy drinker   of his father follows him.  So, he leaves, but first he promises Megan he would write her, and that his love for her will never fade away.

The world is filled with radioactive dust after a nuclear war. This war, made most of the people travel to Mars and had androids as servants because all the animals had died. Rick Deckard is a bounty hunter whose job is to retire androids who try to escape from Mars. He and his wife, Iran, have an electric sheep, but they dream of being able to buy a real animal.
