         <description><![CDATA[<div>Scout does not treat Walter Cunningham as her equal. The Cunningham's are very poor and Scout treats them differently because of it. When he pours syrup all over is meal, Scout is very inconsiderate and begins to make comments on his actions. Calpurnia teaches Scout that it does not matter who they are or where they come from, Scout needs to treat them with polite understanding. Although Scout may not agree with what Walter is doing, she  needs to treat him with respect.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Now a days, I feel like parents don't really go to such lengths to teach their kids such important life lessons. Maybe they'll do it passively, but never try as hard as Atticus does for his kids. Parents just shove a screen in front of their kid and expect the screen to teach them, or school. That's just my experience though.</div>]]></description>

As a result of his actions, they are not getting an education and will fall in to the same pattern as their father. Scout learns that parents have a huge role in what kind of people their kids become. She learns that people can not blame the kids completely for their actions.</div>]]></description>

Of course, like any person her change is slow, meaning she doesn't become perfect overnight. So she is still on her journey to bettering her morals.</div>]]></description>
