Today is read across America day in honor of Dr. Suess. He made many children's books and many people still read them. We are going to be reading a lot today! I like that book because Christmas is one of my favorite holidays and I like some humor in books. I also like how it can bring families together like it does in here.

Today the Bellevue Public Schools District is celebrating read across America. Since today is Dr. Seuss's birthday we are writing about what are favorite book is that he wrote. My favorite book is The Cat and the Hat. It is my favorite book because The Cat see's the two kids inside doing nothing and he tries to have fun with them. But eventually he makes a HUGE mess. He then cleans it all up with the help of the kids.

I like Fox in Socks beacause, every time there is a tounge twister it keeps getting harder and harder!In the fist page of the book it says "Take It Slowly. This Book is Dangerous!"That is very true because when you read quickly you start to mess up. Fox in Socks is a beginner book, but it is still fun to read. That is why I like Fox in Socks!
