Stating how he was accused of having a learning disability as a child and how that evidence was not shown in his trial, resulting in him being wrongfully convicted.
After being placed in the Huronia Regional Centre at the age of 9, he was released after 13 years after the rest results came back stating he did not have a learning disability.
He returned to Huronia as a counsellor and during his time he received a number of awards for his community service.
If these points of evidence were stated by White’s lawyer, he may not have ended up behind bars for around 15 years.
