This can be seen by how many cishet men and women have taken over queer bars and safe spaces for themselves. We as a community understand how important it is to feel safe, however invading our safe spaces in order to have any semblance of your own is not the way to go about things. The amount of times I have been harassed at queer clubs, bars, safe spaces, and prides by straight "allies" who wish to show their support but turn violent at the even mention of my sexuality is insurmountable.
