With all these bills mainly hurting the people than helping it was no shock that the people soon wanted their independence from England. Most of the acts were to make sure that the people had to pay the original absurd prices for cheap materials instead of getting them from outside sources for much less. When some of these acts were passed the people started to grow a lot of anger to their current law system. When you look back a all he events to ever happen in our history you ave to realize that most decisions that the government made in England was to benefit themselves not everyone which led to most of their problems. When the king was asked by the settlers for their freedom i'm sure he thought they would come back or just disappear and not cause him problems anymore but the exact opposite happened.
The settlers from that time were constantly dealing with the unfairness of their own government and they got sick of it so they started craving their own independence so they could live their life the way they wanted to. When ever I look back at our history all I see is the old government system we use to follow only helped the rich most the time and that wasn't fair to the middle class. All governments should always try to make all laws and rights equal among everyone. throughout history you will see the government slowly change to help the middle class more and more but it still takes to long to help.
The effects of all these acts that were released to stop the middle class to save their money led to a lot of rebellious actions. With all the other colonist trying to fight against the government really made other people look and notice that the government really isn't working. Most of the time when events like the Boston tea party happen the government tried and make the people pay for the damage but they should already know that they wouldn't help them pay for the money they had loss. The government should never try to take advantage of the people it should be helping.
When most people look back they would never believe how cruel people were to one another because it's not all that common anymore. I'm not saying that you won't see something just as bad on the news here and there but it's a lot less common then back in the past. Nowadays people don't have to worry about the government making the poor pay for everything that doesn't workout the government allows us the people decide if we want this law to be approved in a way. In the present the people have the power to change their government through voting and debating over issues that need to be solved.
