I would like to study economics as I am interested in the mechanisms of the financial systems in the status quo and the theories they are based upon. In the future, I seek to major in a subject related to mathematics and I believe economics to be one of the areas for which mathematics can be applied to. As I will be a part of the economy in the future, I believe that understanding its mechanisms is fundamental for career success everywhere.
