Initially, besides everybody says, the Captain was focused to help the little lost kid and that reveals how the Captain believe in the people and how he is very empathetic. So this movie introduces the value about having goodness in our heart, no matter what we are doing or for who we are doing.
In addition to it, being honest, the movie talks to us about the nicest feeling in the world: genuine love. Despite sir Captain Kidd doesn't know the girl, she took her and watch for her like she was his own daughter. So, the empathy and the love was very close to another and the movie shows us how they have to be together.
