Positive: It gave him good image because he was wealthy.
Negative: It could bring him negativity because he brought back more to Spain than other returning conquistadors.

Positive: It makes him want to keep trying if things aren't going well, he will believe there is hope and god is there for him.
Negative: If he is restless and he is not motivated anymore he might doubt god, and be upset with himself.

Effects natives had during their journey was at a Indian town of mauvila, some Indians attacked Spaniards in October 1540, the Spanish was very hurt and they lost a lot of their valuables. Than Hernandos whole group got attacked again on May 21, 1541 by Indians. Than Hernando died from a fever in Louisiana. The natives were not treated well by Hernando. Hernando had natives as his slaves. Some villages of Native Americans were ready for Hernando to show so they could fight him. He had a conquest to get gold and he won. He got his gold he wanted and he got pearls too.
Examples of cultural blending is slaves, gold, pearls, getting attacked by natives. I think countries colonize to get goods and trade or even labor. People most likely move to get better opportunities to be wealthy, to get goods that will help them in the long run.
