However, none of the 100 seeds with regular light sprouted, or even grew roots, leaving us with a sample size too small to determine anything from.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Half (50%) of the seeds that sprouted were white, instead of the normal 25% expected from a recessive trait from heterozygous parents. Because of this, we can justify&nbsp; our statement (explanation 2), because the seeds exhibited a change in phenotypic ratio, as our explanation predicted.  However, we cannot fully determine a creditable justification because we had a very small sample size. </div>]]></description>
