The book I just started reading is called Leaving Paradise by Simone Elkeles. I think something that really captures my attention, and makes me want to read more into books is looking forward to read point of view of the next main character in the upcoming chapter. So far in this book a guy named Caleb is a very sarcastic boy who’s leaving jail for doing a hit and run. By the clues in the first couple of sentences I believe that the author was stating sarcastically that jail as his paradise that he is now leaving. After getting to about the third chapter I realize that he is very uptight and that he waiting for that special someone to help him. The other main characters name Is Maggie and from what ive read I think she has a soft spot for boys who act all tough in front of others but in reality they are so easy to break down. Maggie believes she can find out whatever is really bothering Caleb. Maggie is a strong independent girl that believes that she can help anyone. No matter how difficult or hard to get to they are. I Feel like if this character were to be real, she would be my best friend. I admire that she is sweet and caring and doesn’t care about what others think about her. We also can relate we both believe that family comes first. I have always respected people like that. I kinda wish there were more people like that.

The book that I have only a chapter left to read Is called Leaving Paradise by Simone Elkeles. The last blog that I did didn’t really know what the purpose of the book yet because I had just started reading it but know I do. I believe the purpose was not only forgive and forget then move on, but I believe it was also about forgiving the other person that did you wrong before you try to move on and be a better person. I believe the at the end of the book that’s when the main characters are going to realize that it’s better to forgive then get revenge. In this book, I think that the main characters were not as important as the characters that helped them find their way through their journey of forgiving and forgetting. For example, my favorite character was the wise old women who talked to both main characters to help them get through some of their problems. Even though she’s not a main character, I probably wouldn’t have read this book if she wasn’t in it. The elder lady nocked some common sense into the girl that wanted to get revenge, and I admire that I they made a character that’s not a main character so important in this book. Overall even though I prefer positive books over books that are depressing, this book really brought darkness and bright light into my life. I would recommend this book to a friend that enjoys books that make her emotions go on a spiral roller coaster.

The book I started to read 2 days ago is amazing. It’s called Something Like Normal, by Trish Doller. What automatically made me want to read this book is the way they titled the cover, and how they put a couple of the main characters thoughts on the cover of the front of the book. The main characters didn’t make me upset nor mad. I connected with some of the characters. The characters felt as though they couldn’t get out of their heads. They are not strong mentally by themselves which is why these two characters need each other. Without one another I believe they would destroy their families with their negativity. I said I connected with one of the characters because she is just trying to avoid any type conflict, but no matter how far she tries to get away; it just follows. So far the only way she was able to successfully and get away from her problems was by trying to find someone to help her forget. Right there is where I connect in some ways. The only thing different between the main characters and I is our mind set. Im way stronger because I allow myself to feel. The characters don’t want to feel pain so they will do anything and everything in their power to stop it. Im not done with book yet but don’t think it going to be an unhappy ending. Thank god for that because this book is really depressing, but interesting.

The book I started reading at the beginning of break is called Dangerous Girls, by Abigal Haa. This book caught my attention by the little saying underneath the title saying, “friends for life or death”. Something else that caught my attention on the cover was one of the reviews, which said “compulsively readable… hair raisin…”. knowing I could finish this book with no time to spare, which I finished today and I’m am completely amazed by hoe amazing this author is. The entire time I’m reading I’m just constantly asking myself what’s going to happen next? Sometimes I even said, “oh my god” loud. This book will make your emotions go on an emotional roller coaster the main characters name is Anna. She is just a teenager that’s trying to have fun on her spring break with her friends her very close friends, but as I continued reading I sensed something terrible was going to go wrong, and I was correct. I just went back and read through the last chapter again and it didn’t really tell me understand how the main character was feeling overall, so I read it again and again and I finally understand that the character feels angry towards the world. I am so glad That I never wanted to read night because this book would’ve giving me nightmares for days. I also cant wait until they make aa second book, because I enjoyed the way the characters expressed their feelings towards each other.

The book I’m reading is called After, by Anna Todd. I am currently at the part of the book where the main characters will not stop constantly fighting over miniscule things, such as who gets to drive the car, or who gets the bathroom first thing in the morning. I am half way through the book and so far, I’m loving it. The author really shows how much the main characters love one another by the small things they do for each other. I think the author really wants us to see that when you do stuff for each other in a relationship, it doesn’t have to be over the top. It’s the small gestures, such as just making sure they aren’t too cold, or just simply giving them a ride to school, or even giving just asking if they are okay is all that matters. I feel like since there’s another 4 books I’m going to enjoy the rest of the book. Another thing I believe the author is trying to tell the readers is that no matter how bad you want something, and signs are telling you, you should have It, then it’s okay to fight with everything in you to go and get that thing you want. Let’s say it’s the other way around, and signs are saying let whatever your trying your hardest to receive, let it go. Saying that I really connect with this book in little ways, such as seeing signs and following my heart and do whatever you think is right. Except the only difference is that im not listening to my heart, when I should be. Sometimes it’s hard though. Having people in your ear saying one thing but you thinking another.

The book I’m currently reading is the second book in the series After called After We Collided , by Anna Todd. I have not read much of it yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s just continuing where it left off in the first book. I did not like how they ended the last book, because it did not have a happy ending, but I did for sure enjoy that I could connect with the book, and hopefully it’s the same with this book. I’m actually happy that this book has a bit more pages than the last having 688 because than it will be around the time to take me a while to finish reading it before I can purchase the third book in the series. I just got through a really emotional part of the second book and I realy want to get upset because it just seems as though I can relate to this book already one hundred present. One of the main characters in the book was doing something she loves, but than she got hurt and she can no longer do it anymore, and I just hate that this happened to her because I just got hurt in basketball and I can’t do anything about it until I get better, but that won’t be until after basketball season. So with being able to compare us together I really hope that as I continue reading the main character starts to get better because I feel like that leaves hope for me.

The book that I’m reading is called After We Collided by Anna Todd. I am currently at a part of the book where I kind of want to put the book down but I don’t because it’s so good. The two main characters are making my head spin in circles. I have never really enjoyed reading dialogue going back in forth between two characters, but I just discovered that if the conversation is intense than I love the going back and forth dialogue. I also realized that I have a strong connection with one of the main characters Hardin. He is a 19 year old in college not because he was forced by his mom that just wants him to succeed in life but she also just wants him to have the best life he can, because he couldn’t enjoy his childhood. He didn’t really enjoy his childhood, because everywhere he went the past of his drunkin father and the mental abuse he had forced upon his family stuck with him. Now that he is finally able to have a say when his father left he was sweet enough to make sure mom was safe and went to find himself. Some how I connect to that although he is a little angry with life he is still able to stay positive, and try his best not to ruin other people’s lives with his burden that he has. If had gone through everything he went through I don’t know if I would be able to recover.

The book that I’m currently reading is the second or third book in the Anna Todd series. Rigt now in this having trouble with trying to continue this book. The characters have soon become very predictable. Not as predictable as after I read this line I know that they ar going to make up, but to the point where I know in EVERY CHAPTER THEY ARE GOING TO FIGHT. Sometimes its so frustrating because I want to really connect with one of the characters but if I cant get too deep into thought with out the author throwing some random thing for them to fight about. I’m really stuck. Other than that the characters that are playing smaller role in the book are suddenly starting to play bigger part for me. I think that since im so disappointed with the two main characters, ive focused on their parents and how they might feel in this position their kids are putting them in. The fact that hardin could care less about anybody else other than the other main character Tessa. The parents are often questioning their parenting because hardin is constantly making everything difficult for them. For intense every time hardin disrespects his mom, his parents just allow it to slide and that’s not alright, they need to sett some ground rules beforr allowing him to stay in their house and not giving them any money to towars anything. His girlfriend has no clue he does this and itits just sad.

I am still reading the book After We Collided by Anna Todd. I am back at a part of the book where I am actually enjoy reading these come to be incredibly long chapters. This week instead of comparing the main characters actions to myself, I want to compare their way of life, and actions to my family. Tessa is with struggling coming to terms on if she should trust her gut about someone she loves or if she should just allow herself to figure out why her certain someone is no longer telling her the why he had a sudden change in his heart, and starting acting sincere to her. If my mom was put in this position I feel as though she would go all FBI/CIA agent on everybody she’s ever known so that she could ask them questions on why Hardin thought it was okay to just drop a situation they’ve been fighting about for weeks. My mom probably wouldn’t have given it a second thought about having a questioner party. Other than that I don’t really know how my mom would handle it when she finds out what the truth is, but if it did happen I sure do hope she handles it maturely. I would compare Hardin to my step father damian. My mom and dad always fight and than sometimes they can just drop that thing that they were fighting about like it was nothing or they don’t. I wish I could know how they can just do that.

I have recently started to read a book called Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. So far, I really enjoy how Juliette oddly professes how she feels on the inside. The words in her brain are so beautifully expressed, I almost feel her pain. I profusely enjoy not being able to tell what’s going to come next in her maze of a life. The author really captures me with Juliette’s pain of being unable to touch anyone without killing them. Her curse is a burden, almost too miserable to read about. Her touch is keeping her from true love and physical affection. Although the prevention of touch doesn’t sadden me, it angers me because she cannot truly feel like she is loved or secure. The suspension of her soul mate touching her is killing me. Although I do not want her to murder him, she longs for his touch. I feel as if she is burying her emotions so deep, that she is slowly driving herself insane. How she interacts with inanimate objects really captures me. She can feel things that no others can. She shares feelings with the weather and with the floor of her cell, as those are things that can’t be damaged by her contact.I profusely enjoy the author’s habit of repeating feelings and events in different ways, so that I can truly feel the main character’s emotions. The book is so well defined, I can almost visualize the interactions between people. The suspense is intense and makes me want to read more by the author. I would /recommend this book to a friend, for the sole purpose of sharing the intense story line.

The book that I’m currently reading is the second book In the series shatter me. I Didn’t really get to write about the first book in the series, because I finished it extremely fast. What drew me in to this particular style (Fantacy) was reading the unique description of the sweet “innocent” main character whose touch could kill. After that the book was done, and I really enjoyed it because in all her book s well so far the first and second she’s talking in first person but her personal thought in what she’s really feeling Is crossed out than what she would/ should be saying if somebody were to read it. Would be the safer way to write it so people would believe she’s sane. The second book that im currently reading is more like a filler book until the third book. Saying this there isint as much advture and action as there was in the first book. So im slowly stringing along because its not as interesting as if there was a lot of drama going on. I connect to the main character on many different levels, but unfortionatly I me being like her is kindve unfortionate. Only because she was ripped away from her family and forced into a celler for the most of her life. Therefor she has major trust issues within everyone she meets. I also am similar to her in some kind of level because she I scared for whatever major events that’s going to happen in the future because just like the present time, things never worked.

I am currently still reading Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. I’m pretty sure I only have only about 120 pages left, and if I really tried I could finish tonight. The suspense has finally picked up in the book. I believe that’s only because the author is getting ready for the full-on suspense in the third book, which I am so excited for. The thrill of wanting to get this book done for the next to be waiting for me. Right now, the main characters just found out they are related to another and they couldn’t be more infuriated about this news. So much that they don’t want anything to do with each other, but the author couldn’t have just left all the conflict here she just had to have them fight over a girl and MUST FIGHT ON THE SAME TEAM TO “CONCURE THE WORLD”. Couldn’t get any worse except my favorite character who doesn’t want to hurt a little spec on a baby’s head Is unfortunately stuck in the middle of the chaos. I am currently just jaw dropping; surprised that I didn’t see all this drama coming, mostly because the book was becoming to be a bore, but im glad I continued to read, because now I just can’t stop. Yesterday when we were supposed to look for figurative language I couldn’t really find any, but I remembered in the beginning of the book every other sentence had figurative language in it. Maybe that was only to bring bus in to want to read the book, honestly I don’t know.

The book that I’m currently finishing up A Court Of Thrones and Roses, by Sarah J Maas, and I’m currently in love. I think flew through this book faster than all the others, and thinks that didn’t make any sense in the beginning of the book are finally adding up. I like be how I can picture these characters so vividly and how I can just picture myslef in a movie theatre watching them as every event takes place. When feyre made a deal with the Rhysand to fix her arm, than soon after she got a sleeve of him marking her I was like omg, and started to slip from the cover of the book to see that this is why she has a black sleeve on the cover than read the sentence again in awe. I also love the intensity I don’t really know if that’s the correct word to describe how I feelt when I read this book, but I do know I love it. I never really thought I’d like these kind of books like this but it’s really interesting I fell in love with all the characters and how they developed and I just enjoy watching them figure out how everything needs to happen in their world. I believe I’m stuck because I really want to read the second book in this series but my mom bought me the 4 book in the series shatter me and I just can’t wait to read it so I might just be in between to book once I finish this one. Alrighty so besides all of this I just really want to say that a court of thrones and roses deserves to be #1 favorite in all the book that I have read ever. It’s just full of life and I love that about it

A couple hours ago I finished the second book of the series A Court of Mist ans Fury, ans I think that was the best book yet. The way it ended I don’t even think I need to read the last book. I just love how these series dragged me in completely, and once I started reading I just didn’t want to stop; as soon as it got to the middle of the book my family didn’t see me on my phone once. The intensity of it. Just wow.!!! I love how she ended up with her mate, and how she truly found herself. I hope she has kids because than she can teach them her ways ans her children would be amazing. When I started reading the third book I wasn’t as into is it as I was the last. I really just believe the author did a wonderful job bringing the characters together are seen as a family and more united and loyal to eachother than I have ever se before. I feel like the characters relationships were just put together so perfectly ans I nearly died when they were all in front of the queens and a king and I think the guy with one eye claimed feyrea sister as his mate. That was the funniest thing to me.

I am currently still reading A Court Of wings and Ruin, and I’m realizing now for sure that the second book is my favorite. The third one is really just one to full in what happens after she has a happy ending, in my opinion it’s not as entertaining as the last two. I think it might be because I’m not a fan of the war. Especially having to see which and who wins. I’m not a fan suspenseful things that have to do with war because even if one sided wins soemobidy does ans death is just so emotional for me. Other than that the third book is okay I’m kinda dragging it on because once I’m done with this book I don’t know what else to read. But I do know that I feel bad for tanking because all he wanted to do was keep his wife safe, but after he smacked her with magic I realized that he is not the man I thought he was. He is emotionally and mentally not stable and if this wasn’t a fake setting and place kind of book I would say he’d need some therapy and to make amends with many people, starting with his “only lover”. I think he is the type of person that can change. The type of person that can go back to the loving person he once was maybe not with the same person, because let’s face it we all know he wasn’t not meant to be with her..but maybe with someone whom is mean to save him. Maybe like an angle

For some reason I’ve been switching in between books and I havnt been able to finish the book a court of wings and fury, I guess the ending is just being drawn out and I have to say it’s pretty annoying like we get a terrible thing happened to your sisters, but I feel like telling the readers how distraught they are is what’s making me not want to read anymore. It’s like telling fayrua’s point of view of being trapped yada yada all over again. Other than that it was a great book and now it’s time for me to move on...maybe. The book I just finished reading, and just bought about a week ago is called Damgerous girls by Abigail Haas, and I’ve gotta say it was an okay book. I think I’m going to use it for my extra credit and write a letter about it or to the author whatever we have to do for it. Thank you by the way I really need that lol. Anyways Dangerous gurls main character is very optimistic if that’s even the word. She is driven to the need to want to have the best spring break ever and going through the book as a reader it was a lot of bumps and bruises. The main character is not like many other girls shes positive and negative in a way people are drawn to her which is wired but whatever I guess. I think the some people like her need an extra push when it comes down to some things

I started reading Energency Contact because I have nothing else to read and I havnt really been wanting to read as much as a use to. I do believe this book is a slight challenge only because the words are a bit harder than I’m use to so I’m constantly looking up a word so I can understand what sarcastic joke the main character is making. I really do love the characters personalities, because what they say just really makes me laugh and think deeply about what they’re saying or trying to joke about. I’m at the part of the book where I’m constantly thinking about how I feel about some of the characters they really are very easy to understand how they feel but at the same time I feel as though they are holding back on their feelings. I’m glad the Amin character broke up with her boyfriend shortly after she went to college, because I don’t really think the “relationship” she was having with him was really a relationship at all. Other than I hat I believe that that special someone is out there for her but it’s not whom she thinks it is.Also I hope she forgives her mom because her mom is probably tryin her best even if it doesn’t seem as though she is, and this girls attitude is really funny I’m laughing at parts I don’t think I need to be laughing at. There was a part when the guy was “dying” and I’m just picturing a really dramatic scene even though it was serious but I couldn’t help but chuckle hopefully he gets the life he needs and that’s not with his baby momma

I’ve grown tremendously within this year and last yea. I am constantly reading a book, and if I’m not reading one book I’m reading another. It’s gotten to the point where my hobbies are reading reading, and the more reading I do the more I love it. I’m happy we had to do a reading log on this year because it helped me grow as a reader and I’m glad I had you as my teacher because you helped me be successful in places I never thought I would be. This year was better than I expected it to be and that’s thanks to you. I hope I see you next yea, and I hope you have a great summer.
