On one of my many visits to Cali, I had a little accident with my aunt's bike. The both of us went on a small bike ride around the neighborhood, and on our way back, my foot got caught in between the frame and the chainrings. At the beginning of the year, she was fired from the clinic where she worked and had to look for a new job. The hospitals in Apartadó were not hiring new employees, so she contacted a friend who lived in Caldas and sent her curriculum. Thankfully, she got the job, so we had to move. The move was a mix of emotions, I was anxious but hopeful. I did my first communion in 2013. I started the catechesis in January, and by December I was prepared for communion. My grandma flew from Medellín to Apartadó the day before to accompany me to mass, and my family was proud of me. My gran died on the first day of March 2016. She suddenly fell sick, and the doctors couldn't find the reason. She was hospitalized for a couple of weeks until she passed away one night. The following weeks were horrible. I was feeling so depressed that I didn't go to school for a while. Now that time has passed, sad emotions still hit me from time to time, but I'm grateful that I have so many happy memories to go back to

After so many years of study, schools, and experiences, I graduated on December 3, 2021. I was static that day, I couldn't believe that it was happening. Getting ready was quite a hassle because even though I left everything ready from the night before, I was full of nerves, but seeing my mom and brother so happy made it worth it.

Ever since I was a kid, I always found 
English is fun and interesting, so I started learning from my brother. While growing up, my interest in the language grew so much that I decided to look for university courses that would allow me to study it. After graduation, I tried to get into Antioquia University a lot of times but could not pass the test, and I was so fed up with myself that I just gave up on trying. I turned 18 on June 30 of this year, and the day was wonderful. In the morning, my mom cooked breakfast for me and took me to a mall to have lunch and buy me a gift. Later that night, my brother invited me to the movies. The next day, my whole family came over to celebrate and brought food, gifts, and cake. The moment was very overwhelming. I felt so happy that I couldn't stop smiling.
