         <title>George Washington Carver</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>George Washington carver was born in 1861 into slavery. He was kidnapped before&nbsp; he was 1 week old, and was found by his owners. He later got adopted by them. He still went to school but it was very hard for him. He was the first African american person to get a bachelors degree. He found a way to make dried up soil to rich soil. Carver also made 300 different uses for peanuts . He was a hero to many different people around the world.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Robert Smalls was born in Charleston south Carolina in April 5, 1839 in to savory . He was respected by his cremates even the white ones, because he knew about tides and river but he was just a slave to most. He knew he will have to escape savory. In the evening of may 13, 1862 he took over the ship and picked up other slaves. When he escaped the Confederate put a bounty on Robert to kill him. The government later made a bill to stop the bounty and let African american people serve in the navy. Robert Smalls was the first African american to become captain in the us navy, also he served 5 terms in the us congress.</div>]]></description>

In 1914 Marcus Garvey created the UNIA for self pride for black people, economic improvement, and education for black people. 2 years later Marcus Garvey moved to the united states. Marcus Garvey started the Black Star Line Inc to provide transportation for black Americans back to Africa,trad with Africa,and trade with the Caribbeans. In 1927 Marcus Garvey got deported back to Jamaica.</div>]]></description>

In high school he already known to be a future NBA star. He was selected by Cleveland with the first overall pick of the 2003 NBA draft. Named the 2003–04 NBA Rookie of the Year. He still plays at an elite level today. Some accomplishment are 4 MVPs, 4 NBA championships, won the preimire leuage championship with liverpool, and stated LeBron James Family.          <title>Emmett Till </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Emmett Till was 14 years old in August of 1955.&nbsp; He lived with his mother, Mamie Till, in Chicago.&nbsp; Emmett was planning to visit his uncle, Moses Wright who lived in Mississippi. He was killed by 2 white people because he whistled at a white girl. 2 white men came barging in there house on saturday, August 28th and told Emmett to get dressed and took him while his aunt and uncle pleaded with them and offerd them money not to take him. On Tuesday, August 31st 1955 his body was found mangled in the tallachie river he was helled down by a barber whire connected to a washing machine and had a bullet hole in his head, he also was missing teeth. Emmett's mother had an open casket and allowed her son's image to be published so everyone would see what happened. The two men who killed Emmett were brought to court and it took the jury 1 hour and 7 minutes to finished the case and the were found not guilty. The 2 people that killed Emmett later confessed that they killed him.<br><br></div><div><br></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
