There is an opportunity to upgrade to a teacher edition for $39.99.  The upgrade provides access to vocabulary progress monitoring and shorter comprehension passages. The upgrade also includes benchmark assessments. There is also a district subscription.

EasyCBM was developed by researchers at the University of Oregon with the goal of guiding  teachers to make good decisions about instruction. (Alonzo & Tindal, p. 2, 2010) There are tests for passage reading fluency and comprehension.  As I mentioned above, if you pay $39.99, you have access to other progress monitoring measures.  Benchmarks are also included in the $39.99 subscription.  It's important to note that EasyCBM Lite does not include benchmarks.

All of my Tier 2 students take the reading comprehension assessment on a monthly basis.  The free version of the reading comprehension assessment consists of a reading passage with 20 questions.  The question types are categorized as literal, inferential, and evaluative.  Students can look back at the passage when they are answering the questions if they feel the need.  The test takes about 30-45 minutes depending on the student. 

I use the results of my students’ assessments to plan instruction.  If I see that a student or a group struggles with literal questions,  I teach lookback strategies.  If they struggle with inferential and/or evaluative questions, but do well on literal questions, I can emphasize making inferences and drawing conclusions during our intervention time.

The report also breaks down which type of questions the students answered correctly and incorrectly.  You can view the students as a group or individually.
