I don't think that many people could forgive someone so easy after all the pain and suffering he went through like being taken away from their parents.

He had some pretty sad stories about being in the stolen generation but it was pretty amazing to hear that a part of the river was going to be named after his parents.

I learnt that the aboriginals were treated A lot worse than some people have described and it was hard to be taken away from your parents

It is very good that these days that doesn't happen. I mean the aboriginal people were here first and they can teach there children their ways. Harry Nannup also said that when Kevin Rud made his apology speech to the whole of Australia's aboriginal people he said that he was thankful that he made that speech. And Harry told us a very disgusting storey about what happened to his relative. I can't tell you because it is very bad. And lastly Harry told us that there is going to be a place that is named after his parents. I learnt that they would whip him and hurt him. I found out that he was sincerely thankful for Kevin Rudd's apology speech, and how happy he was when he saw it. Surprisingly, he was very forgiving about it all, especially when Kevin Rudd apologised. He talked about how much he loved living by the river, and how in about 2 weeks he was going to get the river named after his Mum and Dad. Even though Harry nannup had a bad life he didn't want to change it I learned that he went through what we thought wasn't that bad but it was it really was nopleasant
