I placed the subject in front of a window with the sunrise. Then had her go through her phone and took a photo when she saw something she liked. I used the curve of the bench as a leading line. In editing I increased the exposure, saturation and clarity of the picture.

I took this at a high Angle so that I could see all that was on his plate. I like this picture because he was pretty hapy about his hotdog and I didn't have to try and get him to look happy. If I took this picture again I would get a little closer so I don't have as much space above his head.

This photo was made with a Nikon Z8 and a Nikkor Z 70-200mm. ISO was 10,000, focused to 160mm, aperture f5, and shutter speed 1/400s.

Last month I was invited to be one of two photographers in the pit documenting Thera, The Used, and Taking Back Sunday performing at the Alaska Airlines Center. I covered the entire show but I was there on special invitation from Thera to capture live promotional photos.

Jade is one of my favorite drummers to photograph because she is fast and expressive when she plays. I think this is a good photo because it captures genuine happiness in the moment, it is framed well, and the editing flatters the subject and the scene.

In the future I might turn the shutter speed down just a little so I could also turn down the ISO just a little. She is quick and your shutter speed does need to be faster but maybe not that fast and as a result the ISO could be a little lower for less noise.

I took this photo on my Cannon R50 with my 24-70 f/2.8 lens. The settings I used was a focal length of 54mm, a shutter speed of 1/500, an aperture of f/5.0, and and ISO of 400.

I really like this photo because of the finished, professional look that it has. The weather that day was very bright, but it was still overcast. This worked perfectly because it enabled me to get lots of light and have lots of definition in this photo, adding to that professional look.

In the future I wish that I had watched for the tree branch encroaching in the top right side of the frame.

I liked this photo Because it show Cases how Happy she was during Her big day, Also i like how the cake looks and how all the pink stands out a lot, Even her Crown and Sash adds a better touch to it.

The lighting is very soft and highlights the details of the cake and the Decorations

I had Syzmanski strike a pose and told him to look happy. Syzmanski is one of my favorite teachers and people and always makes me happy that's why I chose him as my subject. I tried to take this from a slightly higher angle and had him lean back in his chair to make him seem more relaxed and happy.

The subject of the photo is my friend. What i like about the photo is that although i told him to pretend to be happy his smile is genuine because he kept doing things that kept making us laugh. The story is him laughing. I increased the brightness a little bit and increased the saturation. Also the lighting is warm from the natural sunlight and the light getting reflected adds to that.

I took this photo of two of my friends who were talking and laughing before hockey practice at the rink. I took this on my phone and focused on capturing the genuine moment, but positioned myself to highlight the one girl and add a little bit of context. I used Lightroom to edit the colors and lighting just a bit, which I think has no problems with it but isn’t too special to keep the focus on the subject! I think it worked out very well by chance that all of my friends were wearing green in the photo. If I were to take it again, I would maybe get closer to my subject who is in the middle. My favorite part is how genuine her smile is!

Captured the look on Remi's face after he got his first cut. He was so happy that his hair was out of his face! Afterwards, I enhanced the vibrance/saturation, changed the tint so his face wasn't so pink, and added a slight vignette.

I took this at a park we went to and we were joking around which made everyone laugh so it was a perfect opportunity to take a picture. I really like that the woman in the back was laughing so hard she bent over. Even though its taken at a side angle you can really tell that they are both happy in this moment.

I took this photo with the fisheye lens attachment. I think this photo is so cute because I was happy to play with the different lenses and I was laughing with the different photos I took with the fisheye lens. Plus I like taking photos w my friends. I took this photo of my mom while she was making her amazing sourdough bread. I love how the subject is placed to the side of the photo, this helps eliminate unnecessary blank space. I also used rule of thirds in this photo. Our kitchen already has warm-toned lights, but I wanted to bring this out even more to make a cozier picture. I did this by increasing temperature and vibrance.
