Due to severe allergies Balloch Campus is a nut and lentil free zone.  Please be aware of this when you are preparing packed lunches and snacks for your child. No Nutella products please.

Please contact the school office as soon as possible if your child will be absent.

We also encourage good time keeping to ensure your child can participate in all experiences offered in class. 10 minutes of lost learning a day over a school year means almost 32 hours of lost learning!

We ask that children wear their school uniform to school and not their sports clothes.

We want to encourage our children to develop their organisation and independence skills.

Gym Kit

P1, 2, 3 pupils

Children can wear their school polo shirt to school and bring black joggers/shorts to change into before their gym lesson. They are welcome to bring them in at the beginning of the week and leave them in school. 

P4, 5, 6, and 7 pupils

PE Kit for children in upper stages is black shorts/joggers and a white T-shirt. 

Children should not be dropped off before 8:15am as there will be no supervision.

Cost: £2 per pupil, per day. Free for those entitled to free school meals.

A registration form has to be completed at the start of a new term. Please request one from the office.

St Kessog's, in conjunction with the Vale of Leven Credit Union, run a "Super Savers Club" every Tuesday morning at 9am in school.

As part of our Skills for Life, this can encourage pupils to save and raise financial awareness. Children can save in the St Kessog’s Super Savers Club paying into their very own account (which will be a sub group of the Vale of Leven Credit Union).  Giving the children this opportunity encourages responsibility, financial health and wellbeing and a life skill that will assist them greatly in the future.  Children will be able to save as little or as much as they want.

If you would like to become a member, please request an application form from the school office. If you child is already a member of Credit Union, you just need to give their membership number when depositing money. 

The Super Savers Club will be open every Tuesday morning from 9am – 9.30am.

This year’s whole-school Christmas project is called Mission to Save Christmas! Something’s gone wrong at the North Pole, and Santa needs our pupils’ help to get Christmas back on track.

Through fun, creative challenges, children will develop key communication skills-listening, talking, teamwork, and presenting-while learning about kindness, fairness, and cooperation. The theme links to Global Goal 16 (Peace and Justice) and Advent values of hope, love, joy, and peace.

Each stage will explore the story in age-appropriate ways, from helping Santa’s elves to leading the North Pole Crisis Committee! Class novels such as Little Owl and the Star and The Christmas Eve Tree will support learning about the true meaning of Christmas-spreading love, kindness, and peace in our world.

Our new parent networking and information session, formally known as Cuppa and Connect.

This session will be focusing on SCERTS - learning how we can work together to set goals and targets for your children.

The Neurodevelopment Team will be in to chat to parents about Coping with change.

All are welcome to come along and take part, we hope to see you there.

This event will be focusing on 'Sleep'.

All are welcome to come along to try and get some useful tips on Children's sleeping behaviours and to connect with other families who may be going through a similar situation.

Did your child take part in the Fun Run and has been inspired to keep running?!

The Levengrove Junior Parkrun takes place in Levengrove Park, Dumbarton, every Sunday morning at 9.30am.

This launched in July 2022 and is a completely FREE 2k event providing children aged 4-14 years old with the opportunity to have fun and get active outdoors in their local community.

It is part of the global Parkrun organisation and is run by a group of local volunteers who ensure that every child is welcomed and encouraged whatever their ability.

It’s the perfect event for families to get fit together, extra training for children who are already runners or great for children who are keen to start running!

Adults simply register their child online beforehand to get a free personalised Parkrun ID barcode to bring with them to the event (on a phone or printed).
