Allowing you to understand the signs, or apply the symptoms if you are feeling someone you know could have this disability.</p><p>Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) affects how a person interacts and communicates with others. People with ASD may have repetitive behaviors or strong interests in certain things. The symptoms can range from mild to severe.</p><p>ASD starts in early childhood, and signs may show up by age 1. Some kids develop normally at first but then show signs of ASD between 18 to 24 months.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>
