Romney began his professional career upon graduation from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. With a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Kevin D. Romney secured employment with public accounting firm Ernst and Whitney as a Certified Public Accountant and Senior Accountant. He remained at Ernst and Whitney for two years before accepting a position with Texas-based Partners National Health Plans in 1987. In 1988, Kevin D. Romney left the employ of Partners National Health Plans and went into business for himself as the founder of the Romney Vending Company. This business did well enough that he was able to start a second business, the Romney Group, in 1989. Under his leadership as President, the business grew steadily, reaching a staff of more than 200 employees working in four locations across three states. In 2003, the company's call center division split off from the rest of the business under the aegis of Paramount MultiServices, which Mr. Romney also runs as President. The Romney Group remains a successful, Henderson, Nevada-based business consulting firm to this day. Most recently, Kevin D. Romney has begun working in the area of franchise development. As a Regional Developer and an International Franchise Consultant for International Franchise Solutions, he identifies successful, up-and-coming brands that are likely to do well as international franchises and helps develop them.
