I am a digital photography pathway completer and I am enrolled in an English pathway for UCCI English. At the library I would assisted people with questions or concerns, organized as well as cleaned books, and I helped keep the library a safe environment. I am currently helping at the Fish Fry hosted by La Purisima Church. The Fish Fry is a food event held every Friday during Lent that brings the community together and encourages people to follow the promise they made for Lent. At the event I get assigned a specific job to do such as being in charge of the condiments, picking up trash, or taking the food to the tables. Despite the event beginning at 5, I get there after school to help set up and help in the kitchen.  After school, I help my grandmother take care of my 10 year old brother and 5 year old sister until my mother gets home. Sophomore year I was student of the month for UCCI English and the following year I was student of the month for Psychology and U.S History. 
   Since beginning high school I have  become more comfortable working with Microsoft Word and all the Google apps. With the use of Wix and Google sites, I am now able to create a website. Thanks to my digital photography pathway I am now familiar with the different aspects of photography and I know how to use both a Nikon and Canon camera. Growing up alongside a strong and independent woman shaped who I am today especially my work ethic. I believe that by working hard, being optimistic, and having grit, I will be able to accomplish anything I set my mind to. For the most part, I like to work independently but I can work alongside other people with no problem. I don't like to rely on people when it comes to my future because instead of them helping me they can hold me back.        After high school I want to go straight to a four year university such as Princeton or University of California in Los Angeles, but if that isn't possible I am perfectly fine with attending community college and then transferring to a university.
