On the other hand, if we of the current era are brought to a much modern age of sophistication twenty years from now, we may experience the same shockwave. In fact, we all experience a bit of this shock without necessarily being brought to the far future. To put it simply, the turnover of new computer applications and the emergence of new models of computerized gadgets cause us to make quick adjustment and familiarization lest we become obsolete if we do not cope with technological advancements. This is an era of learning and unlearning because it seems that knowledge nowadays isn’t fixed but undergo a constant process of reshaping and recalibration.Our world over the years has ascended through many rungs of vicissitudes that affect the people’s social behavior and culture. The rapid advancement of technology in this cyber age can be the reason for such changes. This is probably why we think, people of today are less loving and caring considering that their focus is on adapting to such changes that happen very expeditiously. However, we are now living the technology and the information, or the IT which stands for “information technology”, where information has become associated with various aspects of our lives and represents the pillar of human social behavior and culture, as it provides opportunities to make decisions in everything that requires standing or facing and taking a position on it. Information technology has made life easier for people all over the world. Today, Filipinos around the world have easy access to communicate with each other and keep up to date with news from around the world. The average daily usage of social media in the Philippines is four hours, earning the title "Capital of Social" deserves networks". of the world" (Statista, 2022). We have a reputation for being one of the first to adopt new technologies. This study shows the significant influence over Filipinos.Life is a continuous learning process and as the technology evolve we also evolve to adapt with new or advance technology. We have gone far from our true essence because of inevitable changes.
