My name is Michelle. I live in the central valley of California in Fresno which is just a couple of hours from either Yosemite or the beach! My family has spent a lot of time in Yosemite years ago and now we prefer to travel to the bay area or the central coast when we are able to.

For work I am a teacher. I work from home as an Online English Teacher for children in China every day but Sunday and substitute teach for the two big districts in my area: Clovis Unified and Fresno Unified. 

Since I have a large family I mostly teach online because childcare is an issue. Teaching online has been a huge blessing in many ways; connecting with students, financial blessings, and time with family as well as the ability to study and focus on my education. 

Working as a substitute teacher has also been great! I look forward to shifting into being a teacher in the classroom in the future and love the experiences I have as a substitute teacher. The way things are working out I should begin student teaching during the time that my youngest is in Kindergarten. 

I use lots of digital rewards with my online students.
