I included terms that go along with learning about text features, compound words, story elements, retelling stories, prefixes, and suffixes. These are just a few standards that I picked out that I thought were important and would work well on a word wall. I also added some holiday terms because I felt that students would be excited to add those words to the wall.

At the beginning of the week, I would place the words that are going to be added to the wall on the side. At the end of the week I will put the words in their correct space in "the parking lot". 
     I would also like to have a separate, smaller word wall for real word connections. Students can bring in labels from items they interact with daily. This will allow them to be involved with the word wall and apply it at home. 
     During the week, I will incorporate the word wall words into my lessons. As the students go through the week they will learn about those words and be able to interact with them.
     For my future word walls, I plan to make them accessible and visible for students to use. I want them to be able to use it as a tool for when they are writing or reading. 
In my future classroom, I don' think I will utilize a digital word wall because I prefer paper and I want students to be able to see the word wall in the classroom. If the internet went out or the computers stopped working my students wouldn't have access to it.
