I learned that the white feathers on eagles is called a bald eagles. The bald eagle gets its name from an old English word bald.Eagles live near the ocean so they can catch there prey and so they do not have to fly far away and they do not get tired for flying to much.By age five eagles already have a family. The bald eagle has a wing span seven to eight feet. Eagles are birds of prey that means that they eat meat. Eagles eat carrion. They only eat carrion when it is hard to let them find food in winter. When two eagles see a fish sometimes they fight. An eagles talon is to catch fish much easer and also so when they catch it it is not slippery for them to get it.eagles make there nest three feet wind and three feet deep. And each year the nest gets deeper and deeper. The female eagle lays two to three eggs in the spring. The adult eagle are busy finding food for the baby.
.
