I grew up in Northwest Arkansas in a small town named Winslow! While growing up, I learned how to garden, harvest, and utilize my caring nature in many different ways. Gardening is my favorite hobby, thanks to my roots! I hope to inspire students to grow where they are planted, just like I did!

Who I Am

I am a dog mom to my Golden Girl, Hazel. I am also a proud aunt of my nephew, Maverick. I have been in a relationship with my caring fiancé, Kendall, for two and a half years, and we have had Hazel that whole time. I couldn't imagine living life any other way! I am the first in my immediate family to attend college, and I know what it’s like to come from a low-income, hard-working family.

My Mission

My life's mission is to inspire and guide children to their true calling in life. I hope to be the teacher that kids like my nephew can come to when they are in times of need or seek advice. I hope to be a beacon of safety and light to all students and children who need it.

My Future

In the future, I hope to be a Middle or High School English Language Arts teacher. I want to help kids achieve their reading goals like Jayden, here. She was struggling to read early in her life, and I helped her get on level in 7 months!

Unfortunately, I will be having to leave my local area and people that I love in the next year. Kendall is going to dental school, and I plan to go with him. It has currently been decided that we are moving to Kansas City, MO! Moving to another state will be difficult, but I know that together we will accomplish great things!
