         <title>1930s Hewlett-Packard Founded</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>In a California garage, 1947 David Packard and Bill Hewlett founded their company Their first product was the Hp 200A Audio Oscillator. This rapidly became a huge part of testing equipment for engineers, Infact Walt Disney Pictures ordered eight of the 200B model so they could test recording equipment and speakers for the special theatres that showed the movie Fantasia in the late 1930s and early 1940s.</p>]]></description>

         <title>1940s John Von Newman Writes His First Draft Report On The EDVAC (One Of The Earliest Electronic Computers.)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p> A Mathematician named: John von Neuman, was featured in a well circulated paper, in which outlined architecture of a stored-program computer, it also included electronic storage for programming information and some data. This helped to eliminate the need for less organized methods like plugboards, paper, and punched cards. Neumann demonstrated prodigious level expertise in things like meteorology, ballistics, hydrodynamics, game theory, statistics, and even the use of mechanical devices for computation. After the war ended he focused on developing Princeton's Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <title>1950s Direct Keyboard Input to Computers.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In the late 1950s researches at MIT began to experiment with direct keyboard inputting into computers. Usually computer users during the time gave programs into a computer using punched cards, or paper tape. A memo was written by Doug Ross advocating direct access. Ross contended that a Flexowriter could function as a keyboard input device due to its low cost and flexibility. 5 months later on MIT Whirlwind computer showed how helpful keyboard input devices are.</p><p><br></p><p>Flexowriter- an electronic controlled typewriter which is connected to a MIT computer.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Throughout the 1960s, and the 1970s the ASR-33 became a highly popular, and cost effective choice of input and output device for minicomputers, and a great percentage of the first generation of microcomputers. </p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Mark-8 "Do-It-Yourself" is a kit in which is designed by a graduate student named John Titus. It uses Intel 8008 microprocessor. The hobbyist magazine featured a cover of the kit on Radio-Electronics in July 1974 which was Six months before the MITS Altair 8800 was in rival Popular Electronics magazine. Some plans for the Mark-8 cost $5 and the blank circuit  board were available for $50</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>The first IBM system to include the Intel's 80386 chip, the company shipped more than 1 million units by he end of the first year. IBM released released by a brand new operating system OS/2 which for the very first time , allowed the use of a mouse with the IBM PCs. Many credit for the PS/2 for making the video graphic display array (VGA) and 3.5 inch floppy disk drive standard for all IBM computers. This system was IBM's response to losing the control of control of PC market with the rising widespread of copying the original IBM PC design by "clone makers"</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

Dubbed A "Personal Digital Assistant" Apple President John Sculley, the Newton featured things that would later define handheld computers in later and following decades. Handwriting recognition software was maligned for inaccuracy. The Newton line never did preform as well as they where anticipated, and was shortly discontinued in the late 90s.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Softbank a Japanese company introduces the first camera phone. J-Phone J-SH04; was a sharp-manufactured digital phone, with an integrated camera. The camera itself had a maximum resolution of 0.11 megapixels and a 256 color- display. Another popular feature was the sharing of the photos wirelessly. From then on the J-Phone quickly expanded, and even released a flip phone version only a month later. Cameras became a significant part of most phones within less than a year, several countries even passed laws which regulate their usage. </p>]]></description>
