I left school in July and got my first job. I immediately opened a CURRENT ACCOUNT and arranged for my SALARY to be paid in every month. I also opened a SAVINGS ACCOUNT wich pays good INTEREST- about 5% a year. I choose a bank that has a BRANCH in my town but that also has INTERNET BANKING, as I´d like to manage the accounts online. I was given a CHEQUE BOOK (though i don´t think i´ll write many cheques), and a DEBIT CARD, wich I can use to pay for things online or over the phone. I also received a four-digit PIN NUMBER wich I have to enter when I withdraw money from a CASH MACHINE.
