To me, digital citizenship means knowing how to use digital tools and apps safely and responsibly.

I think that the responsibility comes from multiple people. I think that it is important that parents teach their children how to use the tools that are around them. I also think that it is the job of the teachers to teach the students how to be safe and responsible on the tools that they are using in the classroom.

I think there is a large responsibility to teach digital citizenship. It is up to parents and/or guardians as well as teachers. We want the students to use their technology appropriately and learn as well as play respectfully with others.

Michelle F Digital citizenship is the act of participating in the digital realm. I think that like any other citizenship, one can be a good or not so good citizen. I think that we all are citizens if we are using digital media, but there is some responsibility to use media in a responsible manner.

I personally believe that it is everyone's responsibility. But even more honestly, I think it is a parents responsibility to teach citizenship and the value system that kids have to their children.
