the wind howled at the same time

 while Anna heard he trees cry 

Bob, the dog laughed at the clock 

who yelled and signalized it was now bed time  

like cold taps on my back

I looked behind with fear

Nothing there to see.

I saw a black cat running across the street

leaving marks of death and sorrow

However I did not seem

To be too frightened by its sight.

A house came closer for every step

making me feel like home

Reminding me of the dream I once had

To be happy and free and wealthy.

But with the rain washing over me

My steps became slow

I looked behind again 

And knew it would not be tomorrow.

Or not to be

Who are you if you cant see

See a tree

The tree goes up
