I like to be in German because I feel like the class is fun because of the creative ways we learn that make learning fun. Some memorable stuff for German would be a lot of fun games like quiz let and the songs we would listen to and the late song. I have learned to say many things like for anything to sports to food. I wanted to take German because my cousin recommended me to take it because he said it was the most enjoyable language he took. German will help me if I ever go to Germany because I have a lot of cousins in Germany and might visit once the whole covid pandemic is over.

I am glad I chose to take German in 8th grade. Throughout my journey in high school, German class was always the highlight of my day. We always did fun activities and projects. We learn a great deal about German Culture and overall I found the class fascinating. German is a great language to learn, there are over 5 countries that have German as their official language. I hope to see you taking German next year!

I enjoy being in German because unlike other classes German teachers teach you differently and make it very engaging. This makes learning the language really engaging and also fun at the same time. I believe everyone who has taken this class has come out with great memories and also something which they have learned.

German is a very fun and relaxing class. My favorite memory in German was when we went to the Chriskindlmarket and snowboarding. I learned a lot of new words and learned how to write in German. I took the class because I am also German and I thought it would be fun to learn more about my language. This is such a fun and relaxing class and great addition to my schedule. Join German.

In German, you get to play so many fun games that help you learn! You don't get a lot of homework, and when you do, it's mostly fun games! I'm so happy I took German my freshman year because it's a easy class with AMAZING teachers! You will not regret taking this class, it will truly be the highlight of your day! Trust me, this is my 4th year taking German and I would go on! Goodluck with freshman year!

German is an easy and fun language to learn. It's a lot like English and has a ton of cognates. I'm really glad I chose to take German because the experience has been super enjoyable and the teachers are the best. You get to do lots of fun activities in German that make learning the language easy, as well. I hope you decide to take German in high school !

German was a fun and friendly class to be in. I got to learn traditional dances, eat pretzels, and play games. I'm now able to introduce myself and give someone directions. German is similar to English which made it easier to learn. Being in this class shows you how easy it is to learn a language and you might even use it to travel to Germany one day.

Hallo! If you haven’t considered taking German class freshman year yet, you really should. In German class, we actually have fun instead of just grudgingly doing tons of work. It’s one of my favorite classes. Herr Neal and Frau Rodriguez are also great teachers. In German, we play fun games all the time instead of only working all the time, so learning is actually fun.

Hallo! I’m a freshman in German class. I was excited to begin learning German this year and I was definitely not disappointed. There’s tons of cool music and fun games regularly, and German culture is really interesting to learn about. We’ve already learned many things like how to introduce yourself and say your age and where you live. Hopefully I’ll see you in German next year!!

update, two years later: Hallo again! I'n now a junior, still in the german course. Going into this class, I thought i just wasn't good at learning languages. Turns out, I just didn't have good teachers. All the german teachers make the class fun and interesting; we play games to study a lot, and very rarely have to do solo assignments. I love this language more than I ever could have imagined - I'm going to keep taking it through the rest of high school and college! Honestly, I'm considering moving there if I visit and like it.Seriously, if you don't enjoy the language you've been learning, switch it up! Having fun is so much more important than having an extra year of credit. The poeple I know who didn't change when they didn't like it, deeply regret it.

German class is a fun and interesting class. German has many things in common with English and It’s not as hard as it looks. We do many fun things like kahoot and other fun activities. German will help you when you travel to countries that speak it’s language. The teachers also make the class more fun.

I really love being in German class and find it fun to learn about the German language and culture. The teachers are very nice and really understand what they are teaching and know how to do it in a fun way.
German is so fun. We also get to go on fun field trips that no other class gets to go on. It is a small class and fun to be with all your friends. Take German. Please. You will thank me jr year. Today for instance we wrote these passages and got to do a guess who for extra credit.

I like being in German because it is a new language and is very easy to pick up and you play a lot of games so it's not boring. You also get to learn another language! German also is a very good choice because it will help you if you travel to another country that speaks German.

Hallo! I’m a second year German student this year and some things about German class which sets it apart from other language classes is the relaxed and amazing atmosphere that the teacher and students bring to class. I personally have some German heritage and it’s exciting to learn more about it, but it's also interesting to learn about different cultures and what Germany brings to the world. (highly recommend) :)

Hallo! I've taken German to learn about a different culture. The past two years I have been able to talk about and learn about my room, foods, greetings and a bunch of things. The TPRS stories are really fun and it’s a cool way of learning German, that you will do. The teachers are also awesome and you are going to have a great time if you take German!

Guten Abend! I am in German 2 Honors, and it is one of my favorite classes that I take at Niles North. It is an extremely fun class, where we play games, watch movies, listen to music, and do other fun activities! German is very close to English, and shares quite a lot of vocabulary. This is one of my favorite languages to learn and practice.

I joined german my freshman year, which is, coincidently, this year. So far it has been a fun, laid back class. We don't get much homework, and tend to play games in class most of the time. We also get a chance to go to Germany through the school, and/or host an exchange student for a while. Germany has an amazing and plentiful culture, being half german myself and having gone there quite a lot of times.

I joined German as a freshman and was not disappointed by the program in the class we play lots of games,eat lots of food and go on fun field trips. The language is easy to grasp and understand, the program focuses mostly on speaking and communicating with the language, rather than just doing grammar worksheets. The classes are also small so it is likely that you and your friends will be in the same class if you all sign up.

Hallo! I've been in German for 3 years now and it's always been a class I look forward to everyday. Whether it be the games, activities, or even field trips, German never disappoints. Not only that, but if you were interested in joining with one of your friends or a group of friends, you'll have a 100% chance to be in the same class considering there's only one German 1 class. The picture above is from one of the field trips we went on, which was a super fun experience. You may even get the opportunity to travel to Germany!

I joined German Freshman year. I joined that class because I saw the amount of fun that my brother was having. So I got a few of my friends to join with me and it has yet to disappoint me. We have lots of fun with food and going on field trips. In addition a lot of the top car brands like Audi,BMW and others are all in Germany and if you want to go see them you can go to Germany knowing the language

Hallo! I've been in German for 2 years now and it is one of my favorite classes. We do so many fun things like making and eating German food, going on field trips, and playing lots of games. My German class is also very fun and all the teachers are super nice and fun. I even got the chance to host a German exchange student and will be going to Germany in the summer! It is a super fun class and I really recommend it.
