10. symptoms include, scoliosis, weakened muscles, deformations and more
11. surgical procedures can help MD ins some cases 
12. life spans can differ depending on the type of MD: if you have Becker you probably will have a regular life span, but with Duchenne the average life span is about 20 years
13. about 1 in every 3,000 children are born with Duchenne
14. blood tests can see if a person is a carrier
