The Prehistoric Era was before the written and spoken word, so the exhibit will simulate (to our best knowledge) what it would be like in the Cosquer cave in 27,000 BCE. There will be no written words, stone walls, and it will be lit by fire light.

The time that these paintings are speculated to be created is during the end of an interglacial era, so the early people were forced inside caves due to the intense cold. Art could have been a means to pass time or an only form of communication, maybe even a form of worship.
To allow audience to experience this Prehistoric living, an video could be played to give an understanding of what this life was like.

Prehistoric Art dates back to 30,000 BCE, and have been found it so many corners of the world. It would be helpful for the audience to understand when the paintings are estimated to date back to and where they were found to get a better understanding of the Prehistoric Era and what the Earth probably looked like during these times.
A world map and a timeline would be on display to help the audience to understand this.
