Cat saved from River Liffey - a black and white cat ended up getting stranded near Burgh Quay on the river Liffey. Luckily the Dublin Fire Brigade was on hand to help the cat to safety! With current technology , the furthest a human can go underwater is 35,858. To put this in perspective, the highest point on mount Everest is 29,030 feet. The deepest part of the ocean is called the Challanger Deep (36,000), and is located beneath the Western Pacific Ocean at the south of the Mariana Trench (which is the deepest point of the Earth!).

Fluffy the shark-Rob Townsend,the sanctuary life sciences manager told the guardian it was unusual to see sharks wash up because they are strong swimmers. On Tuesday Fluffy the shark was set free from a boat 4km off the coast of Sydney to avoid becoming stranded again.

Many dogs are lactose intolerant and because ice cream contains dairy, it will upset the dog’s stomach The owner of the ice cream parlour, Mauricio Montoya, says “we wanted to make a dessert for dogs so he got in contact with a number of veterinarians before creating a safe and delicious recipe for the dogs to enjoy.The ice cream is made using organic, lactose-free and sugar-free yogurt, honey and fruit flavours.
