         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>In this stage of Piaget's early childhood development,  children from birth up to 2 years old start to develop reflexes, habits and hand-eye coordination. It is also in this stage that children become more aware that and object still exists even though it is out of sight. <br><br>I chose to elaborate on the sensorimotor stage because it is one i have witnessed myself with my son.          <title>Preoperational Stage </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>During this stage children begin to develop to ability to represent objects with images and words, language skills and an imagination. Children learn through imitation and play in this stage. They begin to use reasoning, however it is mainly intuitive, instead of logical.&nbsp;<br><br>I also chose this stage to elaborate on because of personal experience with my son. After learning about the lack of conservation in young children, I decided to do the same experiment with my 4 year old son. I was convinced that he would figure it out...
