Why is measurement so important in science ?
Karina Quijano, P2

Measurement is important to science because without measurement there will be miscalculation in the experiments.

Measurement is important in science because without it we wouldn't be able to do what we can do now. We wouldn't be able to conduct experiments or make theories.
Sofia Gomez P2
Sofia Gomez P2
NASA made one of the biggest errors in history due to the measurements being off, it was proven to be a human error found in a mathematical oversight. The error was caused due to the failure to convert customary units to metric units pounds to Newton. Measurements are important in science for scientist to form theories and get an estimate outcome for their experiments.
Alan Leonardo Pd.2

Without measurements we wouldn't be able to find precise results in an experiment. With measurements we get the right portion of something that is needed.

Derrick King II Pd. 2
Derrick King II Pd. 2
Without measurement, there wouldn't be a way for scientist to travel to space, there probably wouldn't be science to begin with. Measurement is essential as you can see one little mix up in units can cause major conflicts.

Ashley Lopez pd 2
Ashley Lopez pd 2
Measurement is very important in science because it helps and verify predictions, data , materials and observe chemicals in science and without measurement , many things in science can go downfall.
Marlene Hernandez P.
Marlene Hernandez P.
The reason why is important is to not cause any errors or miscalculation on the things we do.
Jose Guzman P.2
Jose Guzman P.2
Measurements are important because even the smallest measurement can cause large problems.
Dominic Martinez&nbs
Dominic Martinez P.2
Measurement are important to science cause without it, we will never be able determine how far or how high something would come to.
Julian Toledo. P1.
Julian Toledo. P1.
Measurements are important to science is because without measurements we wouldn’t know how to determine how much chemicals or liquids we need for a lab
Jordan Eagle Pd.1
Jordan Eagle Pd.1
It is Important for it to be both accurate and precise.
Isaac Recio P1
Isaac Recio P1
Without measurement it would be difficult for us to conduct experiments.
Marcus Hinojosa P1
Marcus Hinojosa P1
If there is no measurement how would you know what is your baseline, where are you and where you should go from here.
Jaida Sanchez p.1
Jaida Sanchez p.1
Its important because it allows scientist to calculate hypothetical situations. Also, if we didnt have these units of measurement everything would be miscalculated and go terribly wrong

Without the ability to measure, it would be difficult for scientists to conduct experiments or form theories. Not only is measurement important in science and the chemical industry, it is also essential in farming, engineering, construction, manufacturing, commerce, and numerous other occupations and activities.

Rosalinda Campos Pd.1st

it is important to b
it is important to be both accurate and precise
Anthony Marin P.1
Anthony Marin P.1
it is important to be both accurate and precise. If not, then there will be poor data processing or even human error can lead to inaccurate results.
dylan bowen
dylan bowen
measurement is important to science because it helps with precision and correct distance. with out those factors we wouldn't know what we do today
Adrian Alvarez P1
Adrian Alvarez P1
it is important that scientist got there measurement right because something can go wrong if there is any missed information.
without measuring the items in an experiment , then it would lead to miscalculated answers and the results wouldnt be correct . also you need to measure
without measuring the items in an experiment , then it would lead to miscalculated answers and the results wouldnt be correct . also you need to measure
Moises Guillen
Moises Guillen
measurement is use to coordinate the distance from objects and places, one wrong error can mess the whole problem.
Miguel Cornelio P.1
Miguel Cornelio P.1
It is important scientists have their measurement rights because if they don't, everything could go wrong, for example in the video the measurements were wrong and miscalculated, the space craft was way off course
Mark Gonzales P1
Mark Gonzales P1
Measurements is important is because when you want to launch something or make something there has to be measurements in it and when you have the right measurements the thing that you made will not collapse and when they launch the thing in space they didn't measure the gravity or measure the distance
Emily Villarreal p1
Emily Villarreal p1
Measurements are important to science because having wrong measurements can lead to a failed experiment or false information
Eduardo Castillo P.1
Eduardo Castillo P.1
The failure to have measurements can cause a disaster because you won't have anything guideline to calculate.
Xavier Huerta P.1
Xavier Huerta P.1
Measurement is so important because one miscalculation can have massive repercussions to your mission.
Jessica Lopez P.1
Jessica Lopez P.1
Measurement is in important in science because one miscalculation could lead into a big disaster.
Anthony Rodarte P1
Anthony Rodarte P1
A reason why scientist measure is because they need to be accurate and on point. Of course the scientist do make some "small" errors but it can lead up to a big disaster or a big disappointment
Antonio Ramirez P.1
Antonio Ramirez P.1
It is important because it can cause a problem towards the project that was planned to land somewhere. Like a projectile, you need the correct measurements for you to land in the spot you want; but it can be affected by human error.
Juan Loredo P.1
Juan Loredo P.1
Measurement's can determine a lot of things in science like how much do you need of a substance and if it's wrong it can make everything go to waste.
Irving Gonzalez 1st
Irving Gonzalez 1st
NASA failed to convert customary units to metric units Pounds to Newtons which are both units of force
Victor Aguilar 1st period
Victor Aguilar 1st period
Measurement is so important in science because without the measurement in science it would be difficult for them to be able to conduct experiments and to get exact numbers in where measurement is needed.
Marc Padilla P1
Marc Padilla P1
Measurement is important in science because the video showcases NASA losing millions of dollars when their orbiter crashed due to miscalculation, all because they didn't convert customary units to metric units.

Prescott Ball P1
Prescott Ball P1
Miscalculating measurements could throw off an entire experiment, and in NASA's case, they lost 125 million dollars due to getting the measurement wrong.
Jose Estrada P:1
Jose Estrada P:1
Measurement plays such a key importance to science because it is used to find accurate and precise solutions towards complicated problems.
Ulisses Tovar P.1
Ulisses Tovar P.1
Measurements make theories, without having measurements there wouldn't be any way to send a rover to Mars. Measurements gives you the idea to what to do and to make it right. One slight change and the whole thing can fail.
Francisco Segura P.1
Francisco Segura P.1
Its important for the scientist to have the right measurement because it shows how much they need and if its not right it can mess up everything
Harper Maloney P.1
Harper Maloney P.1
Measurement is important because without it your basically just making a guess. Precision and accuracy is always important when working with science due to the dangers that could come from not doing something correctly.
Jorge Mosqueda P
Jorge Mosqueda P
It's important to measure in science because a slight miscalculation on something can cause A LOT of damage to something or can cost the government A LOT of moneys.
Xavier Olivares P1
Xavier Olivares P1
Measurement is important because it helps scientists run their experiments correctly so there isn't any problems during them.

Measurements are necessary for all scientists and people in general because even the slightest miscalculation can mean the difference between failure, and success no matter the assignment , for example on September 23rd, 1999 NASA sent the Mars climate orbiter, so that it may serve as a tool to gather information about the ''Red Planet'', but because the jet propulsion navigation team made a miscalculation, they failed to convert customary units to metric units, and because of this error it caused the orbiter to miss the martian surface, thus eventually causing it to disintegrate over the planet.
